WICOMICO COUNTY

Bill 1

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Council of
Wicomico County, Maryland, to borrow on the faith and credit of
Wicomico County, Maryland, an amount not exceeding Two Million,
One Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($2,125,000) and to
evidence such borrowing by the issue and sale of the general
obligation bonds of the County, the proceeds thereof to be used
by the County Council of Wicomico County, the several County
Departments involved in capital improvements needed by the
health, recreation, airport and public works programs, for the
construction of a Courts and Jail Building (Detention Center) and
by the Board of Education of Wicomico County for the construction
of new facilities for roof repair and replacement, and
acquisition of equipment therefor. Such expenses are to include,
but not be limited to, architectural and engineering fees and
other expenses in conjunction with said programs; prescribing the
procedure for the issuance of said bonds and the terms thereof;
authorizing annual appropriations to pay the principal of and
interest on said bonds and the levying of taxes to meet said
appropriations; and providing that the provisions of this Act
shall be separable.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 37, Titled "ETHICAL STANDARDS" of
the Wicomico County Code, amending said Chapter to provide
generally for the maintenance of ethical standards in accordance
with Article 40A of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 138 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "Electrical Standards" by repealing and reenacting with
amendments and additions, Section 138-3, titled "Definitions";
Section 138-13, titled "General Requirements for Registration",
by adding Subsection C; Section 138-15, titled "Fees and Bonds";
Section 138-18, titled "Expiration and Renewal of Certificates"
and Section 138-21, titled "Examinations".
