The typographical error, the use of the word
"eradicated" in the place of the word "eradicate",
occurred in Ch. 616 of the Acts of 1986.

The typographical error was noted by the Michie
Company.

(d)   (3) (i) This paragraph [(3)] does not apply to:

1.  Any person who has a national
pollution discharge elimination system permit; or

2.  Any publicly or privately owned sewage
treatment plant.

(ii) A person may not use any chemical to
harvest, cut, or otherwise remove or eradicate submerged aquatic
vegetation under this subsection.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a stylistic error in an
internal reference in § 4-213(d)(3) of the Natural
Resources Article.

The stylistic error occurred in Ch. 616 of the Acts of
1986.

The stylistic error was noted by the Computer Division
of the Department of Legislative Reference.

(e)  (2) If a plan is approved, the Department may prescribe
the [time] TIME, method, and extent of the removal or
eradication:

(i) To control the effect of the removal or
eradication on water quality; or

(ii) To protect the growth and proliferation of
fish and aquatic grasses.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of punctuation
in § 4-213(e)(2) of the Natural Resources Article.

The punctuation, a comma, was omitted from Ch. 616 of
the Acts of 1986.

The omission of the punctuation was noted by the
Computer Division of the Department of Legislative
