WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 482

(E)  THE SUM EQUIVALENT TO 1 CENT PER HUNDRED DOLLARS OF
ASSESSED VALUATION OF TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE COUNTY SHALL BE
DISTRIBUTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO THE 9
VOLUNTEER FIRE OR FIRE AND AMBULANCE COMPANIES IN EQUAL
ALLOCATIONS.

(F)  In order to be eligible for any of the funds provided
for in this section, each of the [nine] 9 volunteer fire OR FIRE
AND AMBULANCE companies named herein shall meet the minimum
specifications and standards approved by the Cecil County
Firemen's Association.

[Cecilton Fire Company, Inc,. $3,100. Hack's Point Fire
Company, $2,400. Charlestown Fire Company, Inc., $3,000 and
$1,000.00 for the ambulance. Chesapeake City Fire Company,
$3,200 and $1,000 for the ambulance. Singerly Fire Company of
Elkton, $4,200 for operation and maintenance and $1,000 for the
ambulance. North East Fire Company, $3,600 and $1,000 for the
ambulance. Community Fire Company of Perryville, $2,900 and
$1,000 for the ambulance. Water Witch Fire Company at Port
Deposit, $3,600 and $1,000 for the ambulance. Rising Sun Fire
Company, $3,600 and $1,000 for for the ambulance.]

[The levy shall be made June 1st and the sum of money to be
paid by the county commissioners to each volunteer fire company
shall be paid on or before September 1st of the fiscal year for
which levied.]

(G)  Each volunteer fire OR FIRE AND AMBULANCE company shall
file, annually with the county commissioners BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, a statement of:

(1)   [the] THE fair value of [their respective] THE
COMPANY'S fire fighting apparatus; [and]

(2)  THE FAIR VALUE OF THE COMPANY'S ambulance; [and a
statement of]

(3)   [the] THE number of fires AND OTHER EMERGENCIES
to which their respective company was called[,];

(4)   [the] THE estimated value of the property in
which the fires occurred[,]; and

(5)   [the] THE estimated loss to the property caused
by the fires.

[For the fiscal year 1969-1970 the County Commissioners of
Cecil County are directed to levy on the assessable property in
Cecil County the sum of thirty-six thousand six hundred dollars
($36,600.00) for the purpose of assisting in the maintenance and
operation of the nine volunteer fire companies in Cecil County.
This sum shall be allocated among the volunteer fire companies in
