STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify that at
the General Election held in Worcester County on November 3, 1992, an Act known as
Chapter 587 of the Acts of 1992 (House Bill 1078, Question A) was submitted to the
voters of Worcester County in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 587 of the Acts
of 1992, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT concerning

Worcester County - Water and Sewer Services - Straw Poll

FOR the purpose of providing that, upon the adoption of a certain resolution by the
County Commissioners of Worcester County, at the general election held in
November 1992, a question shall be placed on the ballot in Worcester County to
canvass the opinion of the voters on whether the Sanitary Commission of Worcester
County shall be abolished; providing that the results of the straw poll shall have no
binding or legal effect; requiring the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Worcester
County to take certain actions; and general relating to a straw poll of the voters of
Worcester County at the general election in November, 1992, concerning the
abolishment of the Sanitary Commission.

And it is hereby certified that at said election, 7,108 votes were cast for the adoption
of said Chapter 587 and 5,983 votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter 587,
the said Chapter 587 of the Acts of 1992 has therefore been ratified.
