UNIVERSITY PARK

the Town of University Park, by repealing and re-enacting Article VIII, Section 803,
"Construction of Sidewalks, Curbs, Etc.", of said Charter, to require that no construction
of sidewalks, which will be paid for by special assessment shall be made unless the
consent of sixty percent (60%) of abutting owners is obtained and filed with the
Clerk-Treasurer.

[Section 803 of the Charter of the Town of University Park, Prince George's
County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990
Replacement Edition and 1993 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date August 31, 1993]

Legislative Resolution 93-13

Resolution of the Town of University Park, Maryland, pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, to amend certain provisions of the Charter of
the Town of University Park, by enacting Article VI, Section 619, "Reserves", of said
Charter, to specifically continue the appropriation of monies reserved for particular
purposes from fiscal year to fiscal year, and to require a vote of the Council before such
funds are transferred to any budget line item or other reserve, and/or expended.

[Section 619 of the Charter of the Town of University Park, Prince George's County
as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990 Replacement
Edition and 1993 Supplement), added.

Effective Date April 19, 1994]

Legislative Resolution 93-17

Resolution of the Town of University Park, Maryland, pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, to amend certain provisions of the Charter of
the Town of University Park, by repealing and re-enacting Article III, Section 311,
"Enactment of Ordinances", of said Charter, to prescribe the procedure for notification
of Council when the Mayor exercises the veto power. The amendment requires the Mayor
to notify the Council of his/her intention not to sign an ordinance on or before the
sixteenth day after passage of the ordinance.

County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990
Replacement Edition and 1993 Supplement), repealed and reenacted with amendments.
