Be it remembered that on this eleventh day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty three, personally appeared James Higgins & Jno L. Willis two of the subscribing witnesses to the above Bond before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County aforesaid and severally made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that they did see James E. Douglass, James Davis Isaac Davis John Baker Charles W. Carroll James R. Nicols, Henry D. Wright & Silas Flemmings obligors in the said Bond, sign seal and deliver the said Bond as their respective act and deed and that they the said James Higgins & John L. Woolen Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following bill of sale was received √ from xd and recorded on the 26th day of July 1853 to wit George Willey Know all men by these presents that I George Willey of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of Three Hundred & Sixteen dollars and fifty Cents Current Money to me in hand paid by William W. Woolen of Dorchester County in the said state at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said George Willey do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said W.m W. Woolen his executors administrators and assigns all the goods hereinafter particularly mentioned That is to say vs a mare & Colt, Twelve head of Cattle, 12 head of sheep Forty one head of hogs 1 ox Cart 1 plough 2 Beds Bedsteads and furniture 1 Cupboard 7 Chairs 3 Tables all and singular which said goods and chattels are now remaining standing and being in a Sertain Messuage or tenament situated in Fork Neck now in the occupation premises unto the said W.m W. Woolen his executors administrators and assigns against me the said George Willey my Executors and administrators and and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods house hold stuff and furniture and other the premises I the said George Willey have put the said William W. Woolen in full possession by delivering to him the said W.m W. Woolen, the aforesaid goods, at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said W.m W.
