4 persons above mentioned that is to say Charity Folks and her said children to wit Harriot Calder formerly called Harriot Jackson aged about twenty six years Mary Folks aged about eighteen years and six months Hannah Folks aged about eight years James Jackson aged about twenty two years and Charity Folks aged about fourteen years all of whom are of healthy constitution sound in mind and body capable by labour to procure themselves sufficient food and raiment with other requisite necessaries of life. And we do also hereby liberate manumit and set free from and after the first day of January which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen a mulatto boy named James Calder aged about five years and son of the said Harriot Calder; and we do hereby also liberate manumit and set free from and after the first day of January which will be in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen a mulatto Girl named Ann Calder aged about three years and daughter of the said Harriot Calder and we do also hereby liberate manumit and set free from and after the first day of January which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two a mulatto boy named William Calder aged about fifteen months and son of the said Harriot Calder; and the said James Ann and William children of the said Harriet Calder as aforesaid. We do declare to be thenceforth that is to say on the respective days above |
