4)                     Negro Jane

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit   I hereby certify
that the bearer hereof negro Jane five feet four inches
high twenty eight years and five months old of a dark yellow
or brown complexion became free on the twelfth day of
January seventeen hundred and ninety seven in virtue of a
Deed of Manumission made by Ann Bond (of Joshua)
of said County and duly Executed and Recorded
The said Negro Jane was raised in the said County
in the neighbourhood of Belle Air she has a scar
over her right eye and a piece torn out of her
left ear occasioned (as she says) by a ear ring being torn out
In Testimony whereof I have hereto subscribed my name
and affixed the seal of the County aforesaid this first day
of May in the year Eighteen hundred and seven

The said Negro Jane identified by
[illegible] Esq.r Israel Morris as
    her certificate


                              Negro Poll

State of Maryland Harford County to wit  I hereby certify that
the bearer hereof Negro Poll five feet three & an half inches
high of a dark brown or black complexion Thirty seven
years old became free on the seventeenth day of April
seventeen hundred and eighty nine in virtue of a Deed
of Manumission made by Ann Bond (of Joshua) of
said County and duly Executed and Recorded
The said Negro Poll was raised in the said County in
the neighbour-hood of Belle Air  she has a small
scar across the back of her right wrist has tolerable
thick lips and a short round nose

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed
my name and affixed the seal of the County
aforesaid this first day of May in the year
Eighteen hundred and seven
