Talbot County
 I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth    8
or may concern that Sprignall Nebb of
Talbot County came and proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof Negro James five feet 9 Inches high ^has^ a black
complexion about 45 y.s of age has a scar on the left side
of his chin is the Identical person manumitted by Travers
Garland on the 26 day of February 1782 & was raised in
Talbot County afsd  In Testimony &.c    April 8 1807   JL Clk

Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom
it doth or may concern that
Perry Lloyd of Talbot County afsd
came and proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof the negro Ben five feet four and
an half Inches and one half high of a Black
complexion has no visible mark or scar
is the Identical person manumated by
John Dickinson of Talbot County afsd on the
eleventh day of January Eighteen hundred
and four and was raised in the said County
             In Testimony whereof I have
             hereunto set my hand affixed the
             public seal of my office this eleventh
             day of April 1807

 I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth or
may concern that Saml Troth of Talbot County
came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Negro
James ^Garman^ a very bright Molatto five feet 9½ Inches high has no visible
marks & scars about 25 ys of age was free born his mother was
manumitted by Ja.s Berry on the 4 of Nov 1769 to be free on the
first day of Jany 1783 & that he the said James Garman was raised
in Talbot County    In Testimony &
                                           April 15 1807
