viz^t That on the 27^th of April last, it being a field day for half
the Battalion I command, Captⁿ Rich^d Bennett Hall refused
attending his company in the field.
That on the 11^th instant Lieut^s Jonathan Wright & Jeremiah
Riley of Captⁿ Abraham Boyds company while under arms in
the field behaved in a very mutinous manner, & seemed much
inclined to encourage the same Disposition among the men of
the company they belong^d to. If your Hon^rs think it expe-
dient to issue a commission for holding a Court Marshall to
inquire into the conduct of those Gentlemen. For the sup-
port of the charge ag^t Capⁿ Hall summons M^rs Baruck Ducket
& W^m Thomas adjutant to the Battalion. For the support of
the charge ag^t the other two summons should issue for Maj^r
Thomas Williams Capt^ns Abraham Boyd & Basil Warring &
W^m Thomas the Adjutant :

Ordered That Western Shore Treasurer pay Col^o Tho^s
Contee for use of John Stonestreet three Pounds, thirteen

Shillings & two Pence on Acc^t of N^o Carolina Prisoners.

Ordered That Treasurer of Western Shore pay to W^m
Neele for Use of Hugh Young fourteen hundred and eighty
five Pounds, eight shillings and eleven Pence for Am^t of Cargo
of Brig Beith.
Ord^d that said Treasurer pay to Mess^rs Lux & Bowly eight
hundred and thirty two Pounds, fifteen Shillings and three
Pence, the Balance of their Gen^l Acc^t of Ship Defence.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Capt. James Tibbett
thirty nine Pounds, six Shillings and five Pence for Wages
and other Disbursements when on Board the Wicked Dick.
Copy of Letter N^o 159 was sent to Committee of Safety of
N^o Carolina.
Ordered That Western Shore Treasurer pay to M^r Tho^s
Ringgold five hundred Pounds to enable him to prosecute a
Salt Works on his Bond.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to W^m Tillard seven
Pounds, ten Shillings and six Pence for Am^t of M^rs Furguson's
Acc^t and his own for providing Subsistence of South River
Battalion.

LeCompte 1 L^t Henry Keene 2 L^t & John Budd Ensign of a
Comp^y of Militia in Dorchester County
