Bill for laying the Publick Levy for the yeare 1717.
Read and Ordered to be thus Endorst viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly June 8th 1717.

Read the first and Second Times by especiall Order & will
pass.

Which was Sent to the upper House by Coll Mackall Coll
Herrman and Mr Tasker.
They return and say they delivered it.
Mr Lowe from the upper House delivers Mr Speaker a Bill
for laying the Publick Levy thus Endorst viz:

By the Upper House of Assembly June 8th 1717.

Read in this House & will pass. Signed p Order
Jno Beard Cl: Up House.

Which was Sent to the Comittee of Laws to be engrost.
Then the house proceeded to tax the fees due to the Honble
Speaker and the Clerk of this House, Upon the following
