those made in 1681 And none seems to be more Essential than
an Act which you are to Endeavour to pass for punishment
of such as shall Counterfeit our great Scale, Therefore we
desire you'l Appoint two of your members to be Joined with
one of this board to Inspect into those Laws and note which of
them tis necessary to renew

In Concurrence with yors p Col Holland We have Appointed

Capt Thos Truman Greenfield and Mr James Lloyd two of
our members to Join with one of your board to Inspect into
those Laws who are Ready to attend for that purpose.

Whereupon Samuel Young Esqr is appointed to Join with
them on behalf of this house, and the following message sent
down by him.

By the Uper House of Assembly June 3d 1717

Gent. We have Appointed Samuel Young Esqr (one of this
board) to attend the two Gent, of your House to go on the
pusal of the Laws made in 1681, according to our yesterdays
message by Col Holland. Sign'd p order

Resolved and Ordered on the Complaint of the Indians of
Copanquo Town in Somersett County of some hardships they
lie under from the English in relation to their hunting, fishing
& setting Trapps &c. That the following Proclamation Issue

By his Excellency the Capt Generall &c.
A Proclamation
Whereas the Indians of Copanquo Town in Somersett
County have Exhibited their Complaint to me seting forth
that severall avaricious & ill minded p sons Inhabitants of this
Province grudging the said Indians any Reasonable Subsist-
