The House Met according to Adjournment. The Members were
called Over and all present as Yesterday the Proceedings of Yes-
terday were Read Over
Ordered that a Bill be brought in to prevent Pedlars.
A Bill Entituled an Act to Enable John Elzey to Convey the
Lands therein Mentioned in Fee Simple Read the first time and
Ordered to Lye on the Table.

Ordered that a Bill be brought in to lay an Additional Duty on
Rum and other Commodities from Pensylvania and to prevent the
Importation of Grain thence.
The House Adjourns Until two of the Clock in the afternoon.

The House Met according to Adjournment &c. M^r Alien a
Representative of Somerset County Appeared in the House this
afternoon.
The Bill Entituled an Act to Enlarge the Time for payment of
Levies &c. Read the second time and passed and sent to the Upper
House by Major Dashiells and M^r Needles.
A Bill Entituled an Act to Cut off the Entail of a Certain Tract
of Land called Leith containing Forty Acres lying in Prince
Georges County and to Enable Daniel ffrazer & Barbara his Wife
to Exchange the same with Charles Diggs of the same County for
Seventy Acres of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Frank-
land and to Entail the same in Lieu thereof. Read the first time and
Ordered to Lye on the Table.
Ordered that a Supplementary Bill to the Act for Quieting Posses-
sions &c be brought in.
The House Adjourns Until to Morrow Morning Eight of the
