Mr Joshua George a Representative of Cecil County appeared in
the House this Day.
The Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Somerset County praying
Leave to bring in a Bill to Move the Court House Read and referred
to the Consideration of the next Assembly and that Col Robert King,

William Sloughton Esqr Ca.pt. John Smith, Mr William Lane, Mr

James Dashiell and Mr James Martin take the Voice of the Inhab-
itants of the County and Make Return thereof to the Next As-
sembly.
Ordered that no Petition be received in this House after Tuesday
next.
The Bill Entituled an Act to Enable John Elzey to Convey the
Lands therein Mentioned in Fee Simple. Read the second time
passed and Sent to the Upper House by Major Dashiell and Mr
Alien

A Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the Act Entituled an
Act for Quietting Possessions Enrolling Conveyances and Securing
the Estates of purchasers. Read the first time and Ordered to Lye
on the Table.
The House Adjourns Until two of the Clock in the afternoon

The House Met according to Adjournment &c.
Ordered that a Bill be brought in to Enable Persons to Receive
the Money now in the Clerks Hands paid for the Lotts in Joppa
and to prevent Hoggs and Other Creatures being raised in the said
Town.
George Plater Esqr from the Upper House Delivers Mr Speaker
the Petition of the Vestrymen and Church Wardens of Stepney
Parish in Somerset County referred here which Petition on reading
here is withdrawn provision being made by an Act of Assembly for
the purport of the Petitioners prayer.
The Bill Entituled an Act to Cut off the Entail of a Tract of Land
called Leith &c. Read the second time and will not pass.
A Bill Entituled an Act for the Adjournment of Queen Anns
and Prince Georges County Courts and also the next Assizes until
the times therein Mentioned. Read the first time and Ordered to
Lye on the Table.
The House Adjourns Until Monday Morning Eight of the Clock.

The House Met according to Adjournment. The Members called
Over and all present as on Saturday the Proceedings of Saturday
were Read.
