Tuesday Morning 23d March 1735
This house met again according to Adjournment Present as
Yesterday
Read the Petition of Isaac Nicholls of Dorchester County praying
Leave to bring in a Bill to cut off the Entail of a tract of Land called
Andertons Point and to settle part of a tract of Land of equal Value
called Richardsons Choice in Lieu thereof; referred to the Con-
sideration of next Session of Assembly, in Order to enquire into the
Value and Title of that part of the Land called Richardsons Choice
so intended to be settled, and ordered that the Heir at Law of the
Petitioner have Notice of this Application

This house hath appointed Col Gale Mr Trippe Mr Moale Major
Sprigge Mr Hemsley and Mr Tilghman to join any Members your
House shall appoint as a Committee to enquire into the Accounts
and Proceedings of the Commissioners of the Paper Currency in
Pursuance of the Act for that purpose

to the Province by the late Law for burning trashy Tobacco; Re-
ferred to the Consideration of the Lower house of Assembly & sent
by Michael Howard Esqr
Read the Petition of the Rector and Vestrymen of King & Queen
Parish in St Marys County praying Leave to bring in a Bill for the
Assessment of Sixty thousand pounds of Tobacco for building a
Church, and repairing Newport Church in the said parish, Rejected
Read the Petition of Andrew Gray of Dorchester County praying
Leave to bring in a Bill to cut off the Entail of a tract of Land called
Goodridges Choice, and to settle a tract of Land called the Hope,
and another Tract of Land called the Addition to the Hope being
of Equal Value in Lieu thereof; Referred to the Consideration of
the Lower house of Assembly & sent by George Plater Esqr
Adjourned until two of the Clock in the afternoon
