prevented him from receiving the Goods till last Saturday, agreeable
to the Account incloS^td, which M^r Keeports has Copy. I hope your
Exc^y will find right as p Notation given Gen^l Gist, the Sundrie
Invoices, being shewn M^r Reeports Corresponding thereto.
I am extreamly sorry chief of the Oznabrigs was sold to M^r James
Smith of Frederick before the Receipt of your Exc^y Letter, having
inform'd Gen^l Gist if they were wanted for the State they shou'd
have the Preferrence and so Considerable a Time had Elapsd, from
the distance, I had no Idea they had occasion for them neither did the
Gen^l mention any Thing to me on that Subject, when he came to
Town.
