Emission to be delivered over to Edmund Clare due him per Certifi-
cates settled and adjusted.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Gassaway one hundred and
thirty three Pounds of the same Emission to be delivered over to
William Wark due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Lansdale Twenty five
Pounds specie due him per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Baruch Williams ninety seven
Pounds, thirteen shillings and five Pence specie agreeable to the Act
to adjust the Debts due from this State due him per Acct passed.

[Council to Abraham Skinner Esqr Commy of Prisoners]

In Addition to the Exchange solicited by our Letter to you of the
10th Instant, we beg leave to add John Gibson and Andrew Carr of
the Enemy's Barges, taken in this State, to be exchanged for Josiah
Biscoe and Thomas Griffin, Citizens of this State, and captured off
the Capes of Chesapeake and now confined on Board a Prison Ship
at .New York. Your Accomplishing the Releasement of these Persons
will greatly oblige &ca.

Be pleased to deliver to the Care of Benjamin Williams, John
Gibson and Andrew Carr, Prisoners of War under your Guard, for
the Purpose of being exchanged.

[Council to Honble Intendant]

It is the Opinion of this Board that one uniform Principle should
govern in the Settlement of all the public Accounts. The Act of May
1781, under which Accounts are now adjusted, directs that Interest
shall be allowed on all Debts due from the State from the Day the
same ought to have been paid. We request you will reconsider the
Subject, and if you cannot agree with us, that Interest should be
allowed on the enclosed Account, you will be pleased to favor us
with your Reasons.

Saturday 15th June 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to David Bradford
Ten pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of
Bills of Credit &ca due him for four Months Salary as Clk of the
Court of Appeals per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Daniel Brien twelve Pounds,
eighteen shillings and four pence. John Anthony nine Pounds one
shilling and eight Pence & John Cheney seven Pounds three shillings
of the same Emission due them per Accounts passed.
