shillings and seven pence — Abraham Kips two pounds, two shillings
and nine pence — Jacob Humbert five pounds, eleven shillings &
Frederick Humbert five pounds, specie agreeable to the Act aforesaid
per Accounts and Certificates adjusted. —
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Mr Paul Snyder provi-
sions for four persons for fifteen Days agreeable to an Order of
the Secretary at War of 15th Jany 1782.
Philip Thomas Lieutenant of Frederick County having certified
to this Board that Daniel Fry of said County was at a Court
Martial held on the 29th September 1781 fined in the sum of twenty
pounds for neglecting to perform Militia duty with the Guard over
the Convention Troops. The said Daniel Fry by his Petition praying
to be relieved from the said Fine sets forth that his reason for not
performing the duty was that he at the Time was and still is a very
poor man and has a wife and eleven small Children and nothing to
support them but his labour which is certified to be true by several
of his neighbours of respectable characters. This Board taking
into consideration the indigent Circumstances of the said Daniel
Fry the restriction then laid on Courts Martial not to fine less than
twenty pounds for not marching when ordered into actual service
and the Act of the last Session lessening the fine to thirty shillings do
order and direct that on the said Daniel Fry's paying the Sum of
thirty shillings current money with Costs, no further proceedings
be had against him for the above fine of twenty pounds and that he
be then discharged threfrom —

Invalids, and certify to each Man, your Opinion whether he is or
will be fit for Garrison Duty. Be pleased also to inform us how many
you judge fit and how many unfit.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Henry Sibell,
nine pounds, ten shillings and Absolom Ridgely eleven pounds sixteen
shillings and nine pence specie, out of the money appropriated for
the Barges due them per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Abraham Faw forty pounds &
six pence — Patrick Hamilton twenty seven pounds one shilling &
three pence and Colo Joshua Beall nine pounds, ten shillings specie
agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State due
them per Accounts and Certificate adjusted & passed. —
