Maria Lloyd ninety four pounds, four shillings and ten pence specie
agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State per Cer-
tificates adjusted the 13th Instant. —
Commission issued to Bennett Bussey appointed one of the Coro-
nors for Harford County. —
Commissions issued to Upton Sheredine, William Beatty, Jacob
Young, James Johnson, William Murdock Beall, William Luckett
junr, Joseph Wood junr, John McCallister, John Ross Key, William
Winchester junr, Fielder Ganntt, George Scott, William Magruder,
Charles Warfield, Henry Darnall, John Harrison, Thomas Ganntt
junr, and George Murdock appointed Justices of the Peace for Fred-
erick County and also to Upton Sheredine William Beatty, William
M. Beall, George Scott and John Harrison Justices of the Orphans
Court of the said County. —
The Justices of the Peace and Orphans Court for Somerset Talbot
and Dorchester Counties, are reappointed and continued under their
former Commissions. —

Wednesday January 15th 1783.

Present as on Yesterday. —
Commissions issued to Thomas Jones appointed Colo. and Ezekiel
Vickars Lieutenant Colonel of the Lower Battalion of Militia in
Dorchester County. —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Taylor
nine pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence and William Ham-
mond four pounds, sixteen shillings specie agreeable to the " Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State " per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Muir for the use of William
Hammond two pounds, six shillings and three pence specie due him
per Account passed. —

There are a Parcel of Hats in the Possession of Mr Edelen, and
a Parcel of Shoes in the Hands of Colo Thomas, belonging to the
Public, which you may draw for the Men under your Command,
taking Care to keep exact Accounts for what you receive and to what
Soldiers delivered. Those Gentlemen will issue to your Order, upon
seeing this
