Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Allen Quynn,
three pounds, ten shillings and three pence and Robert Reynolds
Thirteen pounds, ten shillings and six pence specie due them per
Accounts passed. —
An Order of this Board of the 7th October last on the western
shore Treasurer in favor of Jub Fowler for Fifty pounds specie

drawn for the purpose of procuring Wood for the Public, not having
been paid nor any part thereof, is now returned. —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to James Kinsley
Thirty one pounds, thirteen shillings specie agreeable to the Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State per Account passed Decemr 2nd
Mr Edmund Kelly formerly a Subject of Great Britain who hath
lately arrived in this State appeared before this Board and did volun-
tarily make, repeat and Subscribe a Declaration of his Belief in the
Christian Religion and took repeated, and Subscribed the Oath of
Fidelity and Support to this State directed by the "Act to punish cer-
tain Crimes and Misdemeanors and to prevent the growth of Tory-
ism " and also the Oath prescribed by the "Act for Naturalization "
wherefore he is now become a Subject of this State. —

The General Assembly broke up on Wednesday, and I enclose you
one of their Resolutions. Yesterday we received a Letter from Gen-
eral Greene informing us of the Evacuation of Charles Town, which
Took Place on the 14th December. Be pleased to remind the Secre-
tary at War of our Letter, recommending Majr Davidson to the Post
of Commissary at Baltimore; we recommended him in Consequence
of the Secretary's Request, to name some retiring Officer to the Post.
The Council are not with me, so that I write this without their
Sanction

Benjamin Stoddert, G Duvall, Jer. T. Chase & James Brice Esqrs
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut George
Winchester of Gists Regiment fifteen pounds, one shilling and Jacob
Hurst nine pounds, twelve shillings specie due them per Account
passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Major Alexander Roxburgh
Twelve pounds, specie in lieu of an Order of the 17th August 1781
on the Issuing Commissary for Stores on Account
