Read the second time, in this House, the Bill, Entitled An Act to
give Thomas Harrison further time to Effect the Removal of a
Neusance in Baltimore Town in Baltimore County and will Pass.
Sent by Walter Dulany Esq,,r
Read the second time, and will not Pass the Bill Entitled An
Act for raising four pence Sterling on every Hogshead of Tobacco
exported out of this Province, for the Support of An Agent in
London, for the service of this Province, Sent by Walter Dulany
Esq.r
Mess.rs Selby and Mackall bring up a Bill, Entitled An Act to
impower Mary Philpot, Widow and Administratrix of Brian Philpot,
late of Baltimore Town in Baltimore County Merchant Deceased, to
Sell the Real Estate of her said Husband, for the Payment of the
Debts of the said Brian Philpot.
Read the first and second time in the Lower House and will
Pass.
Read the first and second time, by an Especial Order, in this
House, and will Pass, so Endorsed and sent by Walter Dulany Esq.r
Also an Engrossed Bill Read and assented to by the Lower House
of Assembly Entitled, An Act for turning part of a Street called
East Street, in the City of Annapolis, and for confirming the Title
of Thomas Jenings to a Lott of Ground thereon,
Read and assented to by this House, and Ordered to be so Sub-
scribed, the Paper Bill so Endorsed sent by Walter Dulany Esq,,r
Read the second time in this House the Bill Entitled An Additional
Supplementary Act to the Act Entitled An Act for the Establishment
of Religious Worship, in this Province, according to the Church of
England, and for the Maintenance of Ministers, and will Pass with
the following Amendment. In the second line from the bottom of
the last Page after the Word "Act." insert the following Words
Viz,,t "to take place and effect on the first day of March next and
from the said first day of March"
Read the second time, and will Pass, A Bill Entitled An Act for
Licensing Ordinary Keepers, Hawkers, Pedlars, and Petty Chapmen.
These two Bills sent by John B: Bordley Esq.r
Ordered that the Clerk of this House receive the same Fees on
all Private Bills, passed this Session, as shall be directed by the
Lower House of Assembly to be paid to the Clerk of that House
Adjourned until 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon
