John Beal Bordley esquire from the upper house delivered to
M.r speaker, the following bills Viz.t
A supplementary act to the act to enable the visitors of Kent
County school for the time being to lease out part of the land be-
longing to said school

A bill entitled a supplementary act to the act entitled an act to
establish a road from Hunting Creek in Dorchester, to Dover in
Talbot County; and a bill entitled an act confirming to Spedding
Bromwell of Talbot County certain lots of land therein mentioned;
thus severally indorsed: "By the upper house of assembly, June
16.th 1768: Read the first time, and ordered to lie on the table.

By the upper house of assembly June 17.th 1768. Read the second
time and will pass.

And also a bill entitled, an act for the security of purchasers and
others being protestants, claiming by or from aliens; indorsed "By
the upper house of assembly June 14.th 1768: Read the first time
and ordered to lie on the table.

By the upper house of assembly June 17.th 1768: Read the second
time and will pass with the following amendments Viz.t Leave out
the words, "being protestants" in the title, and in the 10.th and 17.th
lines; and the words, "being a protestant or protestants," in the
24.th 27.th and 28.th lines ; and the words "papist or papists," in the
last line but two, and also in the last line but one.

The paper bill, entitled an act for the recovery of certain amercia-
ments, and also upon defaults on executions; And the ingross'd bills
entitled an act for the relief of Joseph Scott of Worcester County;
A. act reviving and continuing an act entitled an act to establish a
markett, at the market house in Chester town in Kent County and
for the regulation of the said market: An act to prohibit raising of
swine and geese in Georgetown in Kent County, and in Snow Hill
