Court produced will more plainely appeare To the wch payment well & truly to be made he the Sd
Edward did bind himselfe his heires executors & admrs yet the Said Edward the said summe of
430lb of Tobacco hath not paid but the same altogether denies the Said Frances saith she is damnified
& hath Damadge to ye value of 1200lb of Tobacco & thereupon brings her sute.
Pr quer George Hasfurt
This bill bindeth me Edward Dickeson of ye County of Somrsett in the Province of Maryland plantor me my
heires executors admrs or assignes in ye full & Just Summe of foure hundred & thirty pounds of good sound
marchantable Tobacco with Caske to Containe the same to be paid at or upon the Tenth day of october
next ensueing the Date hereof at his now dwelling house as witness my hand & seale this the
Twenty fourth of December in ye XXXXiii year of Caecilius &c Ao Do 1674 Edwd Dickeson (seale)

one the back side of the said bill writ This Wee Frances Minshall & Jeffrey Minshall
Doe assigne & make over unto George Hasfurt all or right Title & Interest of this within mentioned bill
& doe Impowre the Said Hasfurt to sue prsue arrest & to dischardge the Said Dickeson And to Act & doe
as if wee did doe if orselfes as witness or Hands this 16th day of August 1675 Frances Minshall

I George Hasfurt doe assigne over unto Josias Seaward or his assignes the Contents of this within
mentioned bill as witness my hand Augt ye 19th 1675 George Hasfurt
And the said Edward Dickenson Cometh in person & acknowledgeth his hand & seale & ownes to pay
the same to George Hasfurt according to his promise made whereupon this Cort ordrs yt he pay the
said foure hundred & thirty pounds of tobacco to George Hasfurt or his order but no Cost but ordrs

Sommersett Ss: John Lennam Late of this County was summoned to answr unto Miles Grey in A plea
of defamacon &c
Whereupon the said Miles Grey by his Attourney Edward Jones Saith yt the said Lennam at the house of
mr Wm Stevens defamed the Said Grey in saying yt he did see upon the 26th day of last June or
thereabout in the year of our Lord 1675 That he did see Miles Grey in bed with Anne Revell at the house
of Randall Revell whereupon the Said Grey is defamed by the Said Lennam whereupon the Said Grey
Craves yt the said Lennam may make satisfaccon for the Said abuse and Said Grey Saith he is very
much Damnified in his Creditt & reputacon by the said Lennam whereupon brings his suit.

This Cause depending between Miles Grey plt & John Lennam deft: ordered a hearing next Cort And afterwards
