Mr. Collins, from Committee on Claims, reported fav-
orably,

House bill entitled "An Act to refund to the Phoenix
Perpetual Land and Building Association of Baltimore
city, a certain sum of money paid by the said associa-
tion to the Treasurer of the State of Maryland, as a
bonus tax under chapter 538, of the Acts of 1890. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr, Norris, from Committee on Hygiene, reported un-
favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the manufac-
ture and sale of lager beer and to establish a standard of
quality under which lager beer shall be manufactured
and sold. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted,

Mr. Deets, from Committee on Inspection, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of
the United Milk Producers Association of Baltimore city,
by granting certain additional powers and privileges to
the United Milk Producers Association. "

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Roberts, from Committee on Chesapeake Bay "and
Tributaries, reported favorably, with proposed amend-
ments,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 1 of Art-
icle 92 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
entitled 'Terrapin, Diamond Back' and re-enact the same
with amendments. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED

By Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Its Tributaries:

' Strike out all after "A Bill, " and substitute as follows:

"Entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and

7, of Article 92, of the Code of Public General Laws, title

'Terrapin, Diamond Back, ' and re-enact the same with

amendments.

"Section 1. Be it enacted, That sections 1, 2, 3, 4, o, 6
and 7, of Article 92, of the Code of Public General Laws,
be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as
to read as follows:
