N. B. All the laws of this session
(except ch. 54, for the Indian Expedition,)
were made to endure for three years from the present day; so that they
expired
on the 13th September 1645.
A proclamation was issued the 16th December 1642, for
a General Assembly
of the Freemen to meet at St. Mary's on the 3d February ensuing.
But by
another proclamation of the 1st February 1642, the Assembly was dismissed,
and
all men discharged of their attendance on the day appointed. |
