GOVERNOR

Massachusetts to the constitution of the United States,
&c.
    See Lotteries,
    11.  Resolutions requesting him to transmit copies of
the resolution relative to an amendment of the constitution,
to our senators, &c. and to the executives of the
states, to prevent the importation of slaves, &c.
    12.  Resolution requesting him to transmit to the governor
of Kentucky a copy of the resolution in which the state
of Maryland declines subscribing for shares in the Ohio
Canal Company, &c.
    13.  Resolution requesting him to forward to the senator
of this state in the congress of the United States, a
copy of the resolution requesting them to use their exertions
to prevent the passage of a law for erecting a bridge
over the Potomac river, &c.

   14.  Resolution requesting him to transmit to our senators
and representatives the resolution relative to weights
and measures,

name of the state to certain officers of the navy, expressive
of the very high sense entertained of their intrepidity,
gallantry and good conduct, &c.
    20.  Resolution requesting him to take steps to ascertain
the true boundaries of the first and third divisions Maryland
militia, &c.

    21.  Resolution requesting him to transmit to the governor
of each state a copy of the resolution dissenting
from the amendment proposed to the constitution limiting
the time of service of senators, &c.

Alexander Contee Hanson, Esquire, as senator to represent
this state in the senate of the United States,

president of the United States, &c. that a wise and provident
policy suggests the expediency, &c. for the colonization of the
free people of colour, &c.
