                    Skipwith Wilmer of the City of Baltimore
                    Henry F. Spalding of the County of Saint Marys
                    Henry H. Keedy of the County of Washington.

In Witness whereof, I have hereunto signed my name and caused the
great seal of the said State of Maryland to be offered at the State
House, at the City of Annapolis, the seat of Government of said State,
on this second day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-four, and of the State of Maryland the one
hundred and ninth.

                                                        of the State of Maryland
which was read and ordered to lie on the Table.
On motion by Mr. Keedy
                                        The Electors then proceeded to ballot for
President of the United States of America for the term beginning
from and after the third day of March A. D. 1885 in conformity
with the requirements of the Constitution and Laws.
Mr. Keedy
                    Nominated Grover Cleveland of the State of
New York for President of the United States of America for said
Term.
The President appointed Messers Walker and Sulivane as
Tellers.
The ballots of the Electors were deposited in a ballot box which
was delivered to Messrs Walker and Sulivane who on Counting
the ballots reported that Eight votes had been cast and that all
of them were for Grover Cleveland of the State of New York for
President of the United States of America and that no other
person had been voted for.
                                        Whereupon it was declared by the chair
that Grover Cleveland of the State of New York had received Eight
votes for President of the United States of America from and after
the third day of March next ensuing being the whole number of votes
to which the State of Maryland is entitled.
On motion by Mr. Sulivane.
                                            The Electors proceeded to ballot for
Vice President of the United States of America.
                                            Mr. Sulivane nominated Thomas A.
