of said regular election shall act as officials for this election and said votes
shall be canvassed at the same time and in the same manner as are the
votes for the regular election.

And in the event that said election shall be held at some other time than
a regular election, then the town of Cottage City and the Cottage City
Commission shall appoint the necessary officers to conduct said election,
and said election and the count and canvass of said ballots shall be con-
ducted as provided in the town charter for all general town elections.

And in the event that said election shall be held at some time other than
a regular election, the poll books showing the registered voters of said
town last registered shall be used.

And in the event that at such election the majority of votes cast for
and against the amendment allowing the special tax shall be in favor of
allowing said special tax, then this Act shall be in full force and effect;
but in event that the majority of votes so cast shall be against the amend-
ment allowing the special tax, then the town of Cottage City and the Cot-
tage City Commission may submit the same question in the same manner
and under this Act to the qualified voters of said town at the general town
election held in said town in May, 1930, in the same method and manner
as hereinbefore provided, and if a majority of the votes cast upon said
question shall be "For a special assessment of 12 cents on each $100.00
of real and personal property to be paid to the Cottage City Volunteer
Fire Company for its exclusive use in the maintenance, operation, care
and purchase of equipment," then this Act shall be in full force and effect;
but if a majority of the votes cast upon said question shall be "Against
a special assessment of 12 cents on each $100.00 of real and personal prop-
erty to be paid to the Cottage City Volunteer Fire Company for its ex-
clusive use in the maintenance, operation, care and purchase of equip-
ment," then this Act shall be void and of no effect.*

308. The five County Commissioners for Prince George's County,
elected at the" general election on the Tuesday next after the first Monday
in the month of November, in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-one,
shall hold their offices respectively as follows, two for the term of two
years, two for the term of four years and one for the term of six years,
the said respective terms to be determined as follows: that is to say, five
ballots shall be marked by the clerk of the Circuit Court in the manner
following, two ballots shall be marked "two years" two ballots shall be
marked "four years" and one ballot shall be marked "six years" and said
ballots shall be uniform in size and on paper in every respect similar, and
after having been so marked shall be folded respectively alike and placed
in a box to be drawn therefrom; after having so folded and placed in said
