Dashiell ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Know all men by these presents that I the within named George of Somerset County Planter and Mary his wife, do by these presents fully and absolutely for and from our Selves, our Heirs, Execcutors Admrs and Assigns for ever Sell and make Over all our Right title and interest of the within named alienation as is wthin expressed unto Henry: Mayle of the Citty of New Yorke Merchant, to him his Heirs Extors, Admrs and Assigns as his owne propper Estate for ever to enjoy, free from any former act whatsoever, and doe owne to have Sold the - within named Land unto the sd Henry and to have recd full Satisfaction for the within spectified Land, and doe ~ engage to mentain this my Assignment of the within alienation, against any person or manner of persons whatsoever to be Clear in Law as wittness our hands and Seals this ninth day of January Annoq Dom. Domini 1691 And examd verbatim pr John: West Clr Cur Comit Somerset This Indenture made the Seventh day of January in the fifteenth year of the Dominion of the Right Honourable Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Barron of Baltimore &ca, and in the year of our Lord God One thousand Six hundred and ninety Between George Carter of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland, Planter and Mary his wife of the one part and Henry Mayle of New Yorke Mercht. of the other part wittnesseth that whereas by deed of graunt, under the great Seal used in this Province of Maryland for granting of Lands bearing date att St. Maries. Know yea that whereas Coll. William: Stevens of Somerset had a warrant for five thousand Acres graunted the third of May, One thousand Six eighty three and had Surveyed for him a tract of Land for three hundred and fifty Acres Called Carters Lodge, all whose right title and interest of in and to the same he the sd William Stevens hath made over to George Carter as aforesd as pr Pattent for the Same may more fully appear & as upon the terms and verte |
