Care of and manage to and for the best advantage for the propper use and behoof of her the said Elizabeth

Six hundred and Ninety Wittnesseth That Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore, (Lord)
Proprietary & Governor: of the Province of Maryland Did by his Lettrs. Pattent
bearing Date the 29th: day of Septembr: one Thousand Six hundred Seaventy &
Six as appeares upon record grant unto William Stevens of Somr:Set County
in the Province of Maryland gentl: all that parcell of land Called the Line Lott
Scituate Lieing and being on the east Side of Chesepeake bay on the South Side of
Pocomoke river bounded as ffolloweth beginning att the Side of the Sd: River
where the divisional Line betweene Maryland and Virginia Crosseth the Said
River thence with a Line drawne east with the divisional Line aforesaid
one hundred Seaventy five pearches to a parcell of Land formerly Surveyed
for Robert Houlston devided from the Said Robert Houlston Land by a Line of marked
Trees thence with a Line drawne Northwest with the Said Houlstons Line one
hundred thirty three pearches to the above Sd: river and from thence with a Line
drawne to the first bound:r Contenning fifty acres more or Lesse Togeather
with all its rights Proffitts and bennefitts thereunto belonging Royall mines
excepted To have & to hold the Same to him the Said Wm: Stevens his heires & assignes
for Ever Now the above named William Stevens for and in Consideration of
Sixteene hundred pounds of tobacco to him in hand paid by Samuell Collins
of this County the Said Stevens Did by his Deed of writing undr: his hand & Seale
allienate assure & make over the Same aforesaid fifty acres parcell of land Called Line Lott
Conteining fifty acres to the Said Collins and to his heires for Ever as appears upon this County
record in Liber M fo: 388 And further know yee that the Said Samll: Collins Did for
the Consideration of three Thousand three hundred and Twenty pounds of tobacco to
him in hand paid by Joseph Staton of this County by his Deed of writing indented
indented undr: his hand & Seale alienate assure and make over the Same aforesaid fifty
acres of Land Called Line Lett to him the Said Joseph Staton & to his heires for ever
as will more amply and fully appeare upon this County County record in Liber
BWZ fo: 51: Now this Indenture Wittnesseth That the above named Joseph
Staton & Jane his wife for and in Consideration for of the Sum of ffour Thousand
pounds of good Sound Marchantable tobacco in hand paid by William Brittingham
of this County Cordwinder before the ensealing & Delivery hereof whereof and wherewith
the aboveSd: Joseph Staton & Jane his wife acknowledge themselves to be fully & wholly
Satisfied
