Mr. Naill presented the memorial of Jos. C. Keller and
100 other citizens of Frederick county, praying the repeal of
the Act of Assembly of 1874, chapter 439, entrusting the
granting of licenses for the sale of liquor, to the Grand Jury,
as far as the same relates to said county.
Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.
Mr. Robinson presented the petition of James M. Stevens,
Sam'l T. Skinner and 200 others, respectfully asking for the
passage of a law submitting to the voters of the City of Bal-
timore, and to the voters of the several Counties, the ques-
tion whether licenses shall be granted to sell intoxicating
liquors as a beverage.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
Mr. Chaisty presented the petition of Daniel R. Brown,
asking for the return of money paid in the Treasury.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims
Mr. Loane presented the petition of Sam'1 S; Addison,
James H. Cook, G. W. McCullough and 269 others of Bal-
timore city, asking for Local Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

The petition of Chauncy Brooks, Gaddes Thrasher, Daniel
Holliday, Dan'1 Corson and 159 others of Baltimore city,
asking for Local Option.

The petition of 91 male citizens of Baltimore, for Local Op-
tion, and John F. Weishampel, Dr.Henry Hubgeld, S. Charles
