more," sub-title "Water," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Mr. Donaldson submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Journal Clerk of this House receive the
same compensation as the Journal Clerk of the Senate.
Which was read.
On motion of Mr. Donaldson. (the rules being suspended,)
The order was then adopted.
On motion of Mr. Brown, it was
Ordered, That the Committee on Printing, report to thia
House to-morrow, if the proper number of public documents
have been printed, and when they will be given to the mem-
bers.
On motion of Mr. Riggs, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Linthicum be excused from this House,
on account of sickness, until such time as he may be able to
attend.
On motion of Mr. Naill, it was
ORDERED, That the Comptroller of the Treasury, furnish
this House, at once, with a copy of the yearly return of the
Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of the City of Baltimore,
for the year ending December 1st, 1875, required by Section
I, of Article 15, of the Constitution ; and, also, inform this
House whether said return embraces an account of the com-
missions allowed said Clerk, for receiving and paying over
all public money received for licenses, fines or otherwise, as
provided for by the Act of the General Assembly of 1874,
chapter 231.
And further, Whether the said Clerk has retained an
amount of compensation for the performance of his official
duties, in excess of that allowed.by Section 45, of Article 3,
of the Constitution, ($3,500 a year,) over and above office
expenses and compensation to assistants.
On motion of Mr. Lewis,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill to add a supplement to the Act of 1862, chap-
ter 71, "entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore City
Passenger Railway Company."
On motion of Mr. Brooke,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary, to
introduce a bill to give the sanction of the General Assembly
to certain bequests in the last will and testament of Rachael
Heck, late of Allegany county, deceased.
