new section to be known as Section 171A and to follow
immediately after Section 171 of said Article, to fix the
time when compensation shall be paid to the Board of
Supervisors of Elections of Garrett County, their clerk
and attorney.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Garrett County, " to be under sub-
title "Elections, " said new section to be known as Section
171 A, to follow immediately after Section 171 of said Arti-
cle, and to read as follows:
ELECTIONS.
171A. The Board of Supervisors of Election of Garrett
County, their clerk and attorney, shall be paid the salaries
provided for in Article 33 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland only in those years in which county or
general elections are held.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or
parts of laws, whether Public General or Public Local Laws,
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and they are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 480.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sec-
tions 178 to 220, both inclusive, of Article 5 of Flack's
Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Calvert County, " sub-title "North Beach, " as the
same were enacted by Chapter 107 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1924 and amendments
thereto, providing a new charter for the town of North
Beach.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
