99 ~  [8 November 1692]  Petition for altering road

To the Wor’ll Court of Somerset County the humble Petition of the Inhabitants of the Forest humbly sheweth that the Petitioners are warned to clear the high ways, which the Petitioners are ready and willing to doe, but finding it all together inconvenient, both for the public, as also for the most of the Inhabitants of the forest to clear away where we are appointed by the Overseer it being wholy for his own conveniency the petitioners therefore craveth that some men may be appointed to view and contrive their Ma’ties highways so as they may be as much as possible for the conveniency of all the Petitioners as in duty bound shall ever pray.                         Petition granted ut supra.
