with force and Arms at the Parish afd. in the County afd. One Ox Yoke of the Value of Two Shillings Curt Money
of Maryland and one hoe of the Value of Two Shillings Curt Money of Maryland of the Goods and Chattles
of a Certain Samuel Adams then and there being found then and there feloniously did Steal take and Carry away
Against the peace of his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is his Good Rule &
Government And Against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided and So forth

Somerset fst I hereby Certifie that by Virtue of the Power in the dedimus potestatum that on the 12th day of
January Last I Administred unto Majr. Sampson Wheatly the Several Oaths to the Government who
also Repeated in my Presence the Test and Subscribed the Oath of Abjuration and the Test and I also Certifie
that I have Also Administred to the Said Sampson Wheatly the Oath of Judge or Jsutice 16th March 1762

Ordered that William Waller Recover Against John Adams forty Eight Pounds of tobacco being due
unto him for his Attendance Two days as an Evidence on behalf of the Said John Adams Against Mitchell
King he haveing made Oath to the Same &c

Ordered that Coston Beauchamp Recover Against Aaron Tillman Jur. forty Eight Pounds of Tobacco being due unto
him for his Attendance two days as an Evidence on behalf of His Said Lordship Against the Said Aaron Tillman he
haveing made Oath to the Same &c

Ordered that Charles Ford [?] Recover Against Henry Lowes & Edward Waters Exrs. of Tubman Lowes forty Eight
Pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his Attendance Two days as an Evidence on behalf of the Said Exrs. against
the afd. Hope Hull he haveing made Oath to the Same &c

Ordered that Sarah Jones, Mary Jones, Charles Jones, and Levin Jones, Recover Against the afd. Eliner Spicer
                                         Each
Ninty Six Pounds of tobacco ^ being due unto them for their Attendance four days Each as Evidences on behalf of
his Lordship Against the Said Eliner Spicer they haveing Made Oath to the Same &c

Ordered that William Riggen and Henry Lord Recover Against Rachell Daugherty forty Eight pounds
of Tobacco Each being due unto them for their Attendance Two days Each as Evidences on behalf of the Said
Rachell Daugherty Against the afd. John Williams they haveing Made Oath to the Same &c

Ordered that Nathaniel Daugherty Recover Against Rachell Daugherty Seventy Two pounds
of Tobacco being due unto him for his Attendance three days as an Evidence on behalf of the Said
Rachell Daugherty Against John Williams he haveing made Oath to the Same &c

@    Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Take Samuel
SW    Samuel Murray    Murray Late of Somerset County Planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should
Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be
held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and fifty
Nine to Answer unto John White of A plea of trespass upon the Case &c. And the Same day is Given to the
afd. John here &c       Att which day here Came the afd. John White by William Allen his Attorney and the
Sheriff to witt John Dennis Gent now here Returned that he had taken the afd. Samuel Murray whose body
here at this day he had Ready to Answer the afd. John White of the afd. plea as to him it was Commanded
      Whereupon the Said Samuel Murray at the prayer of the afd. John White is Adjudged to give Special bail to
the Action afd. Thereupon a Certain Ephraim Wilson of Somerset County present here in Court in his proper
person Undertook for the Said Samuel Murray that if it Should happen that Judgment in the plea afd. Should
be Rendred for the Said John White Against the afd. Samuel Murray or that he the Said Samuel Should be
therein Convict that then he the Said Samuel Should pay and Satisfie unto the afd. John White the

Judgment
