    Ordered by the Court here at this Day to wit the Day and year last mentioned that
the Sher of Kent County take the afd Hannah Lawson into his Custody and
Execute the punishment in the Judgment afd Specified and afterwards to
Bring her into Court again of which precept the s.d Sher to wit John
^Greshams^ Gent. high Sher of Kent County makes Return on y.e Day and year ^last^ and
sayed that he hath Executed the s.d punishment Judgment and also hath
here the s.d Hannah Lawson before y.e Court

    Ordered by the Court here that the s.d Hannah prove y.e Begetter of the
Child in y.e Indictment afd Specified who Declares on y.e holy Evangilists
of Almighty God that a Certain James Moales is y.e ffather of y.e afd
Child

    Ordered by the Court here that the Sherf of Kent County do keep y.e s.d
Hannah Lawson in Safe Custody untill She Shall Satisfie y.e fees in
the Judgment aforementioned

Day of s.d Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Seven the
Day of Return of s.d writt Endorst as foll.s viz.t

    Kent County fs.t The Jurors for the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry that now is for
Kent County afd upon their oaths do present that Martha Jarvis Late of
S.t pauls parish in the County afd Spinster the tenth Day of June
Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred twenty & Six at the parish afd
in Kent County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court Did Comitt
fornication with a Certain person to the Jurors afd unknown and Did permit
the Same unknown person then and there to have Carnal knowledge
of her Body then and there to Beget a Bastard Child upon the Body
of her y.e Same Martha to the high Displeasure of Almighty God to y.e
Evil Example of all others in Such Case offending Contrary to y.e peace of
of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his good Rule and Government and against
the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided
