it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court House in the Town of Chester
in Said County on the third tuesday in March being the Sixteenth day of Said Month
Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty  That the afd Phebe Gilbert pay the
Sum of thirty Shillings Current money it being for the offence of Committing
the Crime of fornication as afd Confest and being Delivered of a bastard Child
according to Act of Assembly in Such case offending &c.a And pay the Sum of two
hundred and thirty twenty one pounds Tob.o costs accrueing on the premisses afd
to the officers of this Court

                    Ordered by the Court here that the afd Phebe Gilbert prove the begetter
of the afd Child and thereupon proves a Certain Thomas Morsell of Said
County to be the person that committed the offence afd with her and thereupon
it was ordered that an Indictment be exhibited ag.st the Same as by
fo 179 may ap.r

Kent County fs  Be it Remembered that on the 4.th day of
Febry Annoq Dom. I personally appeared before me the
one of his Lordships Justices of the peace for S.d county
Nicholas Neale and Acknowledged himself Indebted unto
the Right Hon.ble the Lord proprietarie his heirs and Successors in the Sum
of twenty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be Leveyed on his
Lands and Tenements Goods and Chattles Conditionally he do not make his
personall appearance at the next Court to be held for the County afd & in
the mean time to be of Good behaviour wherewith he is Content At which
Said time came Benjamin Green of Said County & Likewise Acknowledged
himself indebted unto the Said Lord proprietarie his heirs and Successors in
the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed as afd Conditionally
that the Said Nich.o Neale do not make his personall appearance as
afd &c.a wherewith he is Content Taken before me W.m ffrisby

    At which said next Court to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester
in Said County on the third tuesday in March being the Sixteenth day
of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty came the
afd Nich.o Neale and in his proper person appeared to the afd
Recognizance and prayd the Same might be disch.d  Ordered by
the Court here that the Same be disch.d  Thereupon the afd Nich.o
Neale Recognizance be disch.d there being no cause Shewn to
the Contrary
