(h). [(7)] In the Queen Anne's County waters of Eastern Bay
and its tributaries, Shipping Creek, Cox Creek, Crab Alley Bay,
Prospect Bay, the Wye River and Wye Narrows up to a line drawn
between the southernmost tip of Ferry Point and the northernmost
tip of Drum Point, and in the Queen Anne's County waters of the East
Wye River (also known as Back Wye) up to a line drawn between
the southernmost tip of Wye Island (known as Bordley Point) and
the northernmost tip of Bruff's Island; except that it shall be lawful
to take, catch or dredge soft shell clams with hydraulic or mechanical
dredges in the Chester River; in those Queen Anne's County waters
of the Chesapeake Bay; in the Wye River and Wye Narrows above
or upriver from a line drawn between the southernmost tip of Ferry
Point and the northernmost tip of Drum Point; and in the Queen
Anne's County waters of East Wye River (also known as Back Wye)
above or upriver from a line drawn between the southmost tip of
Wye Island (known as Bordley Point) and the northmost tip of
Bruff's Island.
(i). In Kent Narrows and the entrance thereto, between the shore
line and line drawn from the northernmost tip of Ferry Point to the
northernmost tip of Long Point in the Chester River.
(j). Any person violating any provision of this section shall upon
conviction be fined $500.00 and costs.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 112 (2)
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Public Education", sub-title "Teachers' Retirement System",
relating to creditable service for members of the Teachers' Retire-
ment System for military service.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 112 (2) of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Public Education", sub-title "Teachers'
Retirement System", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
112.
(2) Determination of "one year service"; service in World War
I.—The board of trustees shall fix and determine by appropriate
rules and regulations how much service in any year is equivalent
