To the President of the Senate.
SIR:

I take the pleasure of corresponding with you pertaining to
business for the State of Maryland in Carroll county in the
District below Westminster into Reistertown and crosswise
into Fairview and Districts thereof. The writer owns and con-
trols through twenty-four partners, all of the water available
in Carroll county, foundation of the same; and owns majority
of the grey stone available in this lower section. These twen-
ty-four gentlemen, we are all partners upon these goods which
I offer to the State of Maryland for the improvement of this
lower section, viz., as above.

gentlemen in due process of law of the State of Maryland,.
