Ex.d This Indenture made the third Day of June ^in the year of our Lord^
       seventeen Hundred and forty Seven Between Thomas
       Bordley of Annapolis ^in the Province^ of Maryland of the one Part and John
       Brice Daniel Cheston and William Harris all of the Province
       af.d of the other Part Whereas Ariana Jenings late Widow of
       James Frisby late of Cecil County Gentleman both deceased & mother
       of the sid Thomas Bordley & to whom he is Heir at Law was in
       her lifetime and at the time of her Death seized in fee and Possessed
       of sundry Tracts of Land and amongst others of a Tract of Land
       lying in Cecil County af.d at the Head of Elk river called
       Frisby's Venture containing three Hundred Acres of Land more
       or less also of another Tract of Land lying in the County af.d
       at the Head of the said River called Arianna containing two
       Hundred and Forty Acres of Land more or less as by Patents of
       said Land referrence being thereto had may more fully and at
       large appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth that
       the said Thomas Bordley for and in Consideration of the sum
       of Seventy Pounds Sterling money of Great Britain to him
       in hand Paid by the said John Brice Daniel Cheston and
       William Harris the Receipt Whereof he the said
       Thomas Bordley doth hereby acknowledge Hath granted
       Bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed released Assigned & Confirmed
       and by these Presents he the said Thomas Bordley for
       himself his Heirs Exors & Adm.rs Doth give grant
       Bargain sell alien enfeoff Release Assign and Confirm
       unto them the said John Brice, Daniel Cheston & William
       Harris their Heirs and Assigns forever All those the af.d
       Tracts of Land called Frisby's Venture containing three
       Hundred Acres of Land more or less and Ariana containing
       Two hundred Acres of Land more or less together with all
       and singular the Houses Buildings & Improvements
