PUBLIC HEARING

Having been posted and Notice of time and place of
hearing and copies having been made available to the
public and the press, a public hearing was held on March
6, 1973 and concluded on March 6, 1973. Reported
favorably (with) (without) amendments, read second time
and ordered to be considered on April 3, 1973, a
legislative session day.

AN ACT to add new section 616 to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Kent County (1967 Edition and 1970
Supplement, being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Kent County", subtitle "County
Commissioners", to follow immediately after section 615
thereof, to provide for the payment of compensation and
expenses to the members of the Commission of The Kent
County Sanitary District, Inc.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND, That new section
616 be and is hereby added to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Kent County (1967 Edition and 1970 Supplement,
being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Kent County", subtitle "County
Commissioners", to follow immediately after section 615
thereof and to read as follows:

The County Commissioners of Kent County are hereby
authorized and directed to pay each and every year
including the year 1973 to the Chairman of the Commission
of The Kent County Sanitary District, Inc. the sum of
One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars and each member of the
Commission shall receive the sum of Eight Hundred
($800.00) Dollars. The County Commissioners of Kent
County are also authorized and directed to pay to the
members of the Commission of The Kent County Sanitary
District, Inc. out of pocket expenses and reimbursement
