560) This Indenture made the one and twentieth day of August in the eleventh yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord William the third by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c.a Annoque Domini one thousand Six hundred Ninety Nine Between Abraham Johns of Calvert County within the province of Maryland and William Cole Junior of Annarundell County within the province aforesaid of the one part And Christopher Goodhand of Kent Island Talbot County of the other part Wittnesseth That they the said Abraham Johns and William Cole for and in Consideration of the sum of two hundred and forty pounds of Good and Lawfull Money of England to them in hand paid by the Said Christopher Goodhand the receipt whereof and of every part and Pcell thereof they the said Abraham to his & William Cole do hereby respectivly declare and Acknowledge and thereof and of every Part and Pcell thereof do hereby Severally acquit and Respectively acquit Exonerate and forever discharge the said Christopher Goodhand his heires Ex.rs Administrators and Assignes and every of them by these presents have given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents do fully Clearly acquit doth And Absolutely give grant bargaine Sell Aliene Enfeoff and Confirme unto the Said Christopher Goodhand his heirs and Assignes for ever All and every part and pcell of two tracts of Land Scituate and Lying on kent Island formerly in the County of Kent but now by |
