ANNAPOLIS

Annapolis have heard the evidence presented to it in public
hearing in connection with the said proposal and have
determined that such annexation would foster the continued
growth and prosperity of the City and be conducive to the
orderly development of the municipality and lands contiguous
and adjoining thereto in a manner most beneficial to the
community and its residents, property owners and citizens;

AND WHEREAS, the said property presently carries a
zoning classification of "R15" under the Zoning Regulations
of Anne Arundel County, which would permit the construction
of fifteen dwelling units per acre upon the said property;

AND WHEREAS, the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis, after hearing the aforementioned recommendations
and after hearing the evidence presented to it in public
hearing, have determined that a zoning classification of
"R2" under the Zoning Regulations of the City of Annapolis
for this property would be more in conformity with the
general development plan for the City and would be more
compatible with existing and proposed uses and existing
zoning classifications of surrounding property;

RESOLUTION

OF THE

MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE

CITY OF ANNAPOLIS

TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT

SECTION 30-B - OF THE CITY CHARTER

Resolution of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11—E
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland and Article
23-A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement
Volume and Supplements), titled "Corporations—Municipal", to
repeal and re—enact Section 30—B of the Charter of the City
of Annapolis to provide that the spouse of a deceased
employee of the City shall not be entitled to any pension
benefits from the City if the deceased employee had the
option to provide for the said pension through a State or
City retirement system; substituting "spouse" for "widows";
not to affect spouses receiving benefits on the date of
passage of this amendment; re—enacting all other provisions
of Section 30—B not inconsistent with this amendment and all
other matters relating generally.
