Amelia Harding
  Deed of Manumission
To Negroes
Caroline Henry and
John Henry
I Amelia Harding of Howard County
State of Maryland do hereby manumit and
set free my negro slave Caroline being of the
age of Thirty five years her freedom to commence
when he shall arrive at the age of Twenty three
years and my negro slave Henry being of the
age Thirty three years his freedom to commence when He shall arrive
at the age of Forty one years also my negro slave John Henry being of
the age of Twenty years his freedom to commence when he shall
arrive at the age of Forty one years also my negro slave Richard aged
Thirty one years his freedom to commence when he shall arrive at
the age of Forty one years.  Witness my hand and seal this first
day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty eight                                                 her

I hereby certify that on this first day of September in the year of

to be her act
