one rick of straw one rick of fodder also all my household
and Kitchen furniture consisting of three feather beds
bedsteads and bedding one bureau Eighteen chairs two carpets
one clock two stoves one cupboard and cupboard
ware, one grind stone two axes, two hoes, two mattocks one
grass scythe one wheat Fan one cradle and Scythe, one
patent cutting box two blind bridles and one bridle and saddle
provided that If I the said William Dempsey shall pay
and satisfy the said notes or obligations herein before mentioned
with the interest thereon on or before the first day of August
Eighteen hundred and Sixty two then these presents
shall be null and void.  Witness my hand and seal
on the day and year first herein written

I hereby certify that on this twenty eighth day of February
Eighteen hundred and sixty before the subscriber a Justice
of the peace in and for said county personally appeared
William Dempsey and acknowledged the aforegoing mortgage
or instrument of writing to be his act and deed and
at the same time personally appeared before me a Justice
of the peace as aforesaid William A Webb and made oath
on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration
mentioned in the aforegoing mortgage is true
and bona fide as therein set forth

This Indenture made this the second
day of October in the year of our Lord
Eighteen hundred and fifty four
between Francis S Key and Elizabeth
                          L Key his wife of Montgomery County in the State of Maryland
                          of the one part and Horatio Trundle of the said
                          County and State of the other part:  whereas the said Francis
                          S Key owes and stands justly indebted to the said Horatio
                          Trundle on a certain single Bill bearing even date with
                          these presents payable two years after date with legal interest
                          thereon annually and to secure the payment thereof
                          the said parties of the first part have agreed to execute
