Thomas Fowler
      bound to
Jno Evans Senr
     Thomas Fowler son of Thomas Fowler dec.d is bound by the Court unto
John Evans Sen.r untill he arrives to the age of twenty one years he being
sixteen years of age the ninth day of may Last the Said Thomas Fowler
the younger to serve the said John Evans the full term of time afd

             In consideration of which servitude the said John Evans promiseth and
doth by these presents oblige himselfe to Learn the said Thomas Fowler the trade of
a Shoemaker and to Instruct him in tanning and to give him a three year old heifer at the
Expiration of his Servitude and to Learn him to Read and write dureing his servitude and
to find him such necessarys as may be mete for such an apprentice to have and were dureing
his Servitude &c      whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the said John Evans give
good security for to Comply with the Covenants afd &c

                   Whereupon the afd John Evans with James Dashiell his security present here
in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to owe and stand Justly Indebted
unto Thomas Fowler the younger in the sum of thirty pounds sterling good and Lawfull mony
of England seperately upon their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements to be Levied for
the use of the said Thomas Fowler.   In Case the said John Evans doth not Learn the said
Thomas Fowler to Read and Write and the trade of a shomaker and to Instruct him in tanning
and give him a three year old heifer at the Expiration of his servitude and ^do not^ find and provide
for his said apprentice all Such Necessarys as shall be mete for such an apprentice to have
and wear dureing his servitude afd &c

     To the Worshipfull the Justices of Somersett County Now in Court Sitting
the humble Pet.n of Robert Murrah humbly sheweth
    That by an accident having Received a Fall from of my Beast have putt my Right Rist
Out of Joynt so that I am not able to putt my hand up to my head mouth or have been able
to do any manner of worke since December Last which Causes your petitioner to pray to be tax
free being not able to make it and your Petitioner as bound shall Ever pray   Robt Murrah

                The Petition afd being Read and heard and the premisses Considered.   It's thereupon ordered
by the Court that the afd Rob.t Murrah be discharged from paying of taxes for the future as by
the pet.n afd is praid &c

Richard Crockett being of full age to Chose his guardian Comes into Court and prays that he may be
admitted to Chose a Certain Robert Crockett as his Guardian which is granted &.c thereupon the said
