other offensive Weapon to be forfeited to him that shall Seize
the same This to be Added to the Act of Servants & Slaves.
2 Article being read and debated
This house resolves it noe Agrievance to the province.
3d Article relating to the Number of the lustices of the
provinciall Court being burthensome to the Countrey &ca
This Article being read it is Resolved that application be
made to his Excy the Governor to redress the same by those
that are Agreivd.
4. Article relating to land Warrants.
Read and is referrd for debate till to morrow in A full house
and orderd Mr Carroll haue notice to appeare here to morrow
to Answer such questions as may be proposed.
5th Article relating to cleansing Arms.
Answerd by an ordinance made for that purpose.
The house Adjournd till 2 A Clock in the Afternoone.

The house met According to Adjournment and were present
as in the morning
Iames Sanders Esqr from the Councill enters the house and
delivers Mr Speaker the foll message.

By his Excy the Governr & Councill in Assembly
Sept. 12th 1704

This board Iudging that the conferrence yesterday desir'd
by the house to consider of what therein was proposed was of
great moment to the province did appoint noe less then five
of their members to Ioyne with those of the house And there-
fore wee desire you will Add some more of your members to
those you haue Allready Appointed to Joyne with ours and
that they meet and goe upon the said Conferrence at two A
Clock in the Afternoone.
Which being read is Resolvd that Coll Edward Dorsey &
Mr Edward Blay be Added to the other members to loyne in
Conferrence & Orderd to attend the Gent of the Councill
The following peticons brought into the house was
orderd to be read
The peticon of Thomas Hebb read the consideration where-
of is referrd to the Comittee of Accounts for Allowance.
The peticon of Charles Kilburne read & referrd to the
Comittee of Accots for Allowance
