He likewise brought the following message

By the Councill in Assembly
October 2d 1704

Wee do put You in minde that now the Sessions is neer
A Conclusion Wee haue not Yet Seen the Address propos'd
to her Majesty concerning the prsent Agrievance of Granting
lands in the province. Signd p order Wm Bladen Cl Co.

Which being read Resolvd it be Answerd as follows.

Octob 2d 1704 By the house of Delegates.

Upon reading the message p the honoble Iames Sanders
Esqr relating to the land records &c. This house inspected
their lournall And find A former Vote that forasmuch as many
Weighty Matters lay under consideration it was Resolved the
consideration thereof be referrd to next Sessions of Assembly.

Signd p order Wm Taylard Cl ho

Sent up to the Councill p Mr Ioseph Ennalls & Mr Wm
Aisquith.

They returne and say they deliverd the same.

Engrost bill for regulating Officers fees

Read & Assented to by the house of Dels

The lournall of the Comittee of Accounts Read & Assented
to And Endorsd as follows.

By the house of Delegates Octobr 2 1704

Read and Approovd of According to the proposicon here-
with sent Signd p order Wm Taylard Cl ho Del

Orderd the following Message be sent up with the lournall
of Accounts

By the house of Del Octobr 2d 1704

Conceivd by this house that by any Comand of the Queene
or law of the Countrey they are not bound to pay for any
coppy's of the laws to be sent home.

Nevertheless to shew the honor this house haue to our Govr
And to settle this point for the future Wee'1 consent that
