Except Deer and Wild fowle One other Act Intituled an Act
for Quieting Differences that may arise between his Majestys
Subjects within this Province and the severall Nations of In-
dians of what places soever And every Clause Matter and
thing therein Contain'd is hereby declared to be and remain
in full force and Effect to all Intents Construccons and pur-
poses whatsoever to the end of the next sessions of Assembly
this present sessions not having Leazure fully to Consider
thereof.

An Act for Suspending the prosecution of any Priests of the
Comunion of the Church of Rome incurring the Penaltys
of an Act of Assembly Entituled An Act for preventing
the Growth of Popery by Exercising his ffunction in a pri-
vate ffamily of the Roman Comunion but in no other Case
whatsoever.

Whereas at the Town and Port of Annapolis in Ann Arun-
dell Coty the third Day of October seventeen hundred and
four was Enacted An Act to prevent the Growth of popery
but forasmuch as the true Intent of the said Act was only to
restrain some exorbitant Accons in the said Popish Bishops
Priests and Jesuits who it is hoped are thereby made sensible
of their Extravagant Demeanour in their Pernicious and Indi-
rect practices It is therefore hereby Enacted & Declared
And be it Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Majesty by
and with the Advice and Consent of her Majestys Governour
Councill and Assembly of this Province and the Authority of
the same That no Popish Bishop Priest or Jesuite shall by
vertue of the said Act of Assembly for or by reason of Exer-
cising his ffunction in a private ffamily of the Roman Comu-
nion be prosecuted or Indicted before any her Majestys
Justices impowered to hold plea thereof within this Province
untill the full end and Expiration of the term of Eighteen
