William Edmondson (if the Land afd shall be sold for so much)
and that the overplus (if any) shall remaine in the hands
of the said Nicholas Low after Payment of the said Debt and
deduction of his Sallary by him shall be paid and Satisfyed to
the Orphan to whom the said Land was given by the Last will
and testament of the said William Edmondson and shall not
be accounted as Assetts in the hands of the said Executor but
be by virtue of this Act protected from all Attachments and
Condemnations whatsoever any Law Statute usage or Custome
to the Contrary Notwithstanding.

An Act confirming a certaine letter of Attorny from William
Joseph Esqr the father to William Joseph his Son.

Whereas William Joseph of Prince Georges County has
by his humble Petition to his Excellency the Governour and
Councill of this Province shewn that his father William Joseph
of this Province Esqr did by an Instrument under his hand
and Scale Purporting a letter of Attorney which is recorded
in the Secretaries office and thereby Empower him the sd
William Joseph his Son to sell certaine Lands of his fathers
in order to Pay and discharge certaine Debts of his said

fathers contracted within this Province for and in Payment
and discharge of which debts the said William Joseph the
Son hath sold certaine Lands of his said Fathers But in as
much as the Purchaser or Purchasers of the said Lands do
call in question the Authentickness of the afd letter of Attry
involving the said William Joseph the Son in Law Suits
troubles & charges to his great detriment who no ways
doubling of the Sufficiency of his aforesaid letter of Attorny
has allready disbursed Severall Sumes of mony and Tobacco
in discharge of the said Debts.
It is therefore humbly prayed that it may be Enacted And
be it Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Majesty by and
with the advice and consent of her Majesties Governour
Councill and Assembly of this Province and the Authority
